What mySHO is

mySHO Inc. is a minority- and veteran-owned company headquartered in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Our core program, SEL360+, puts a 15 minute social-emotional learning lesson in front of every enrolled participant every school day, with a licensed behavioral health agency working alongside the school. Families take part through the Family Care Team, doing the same lesson on the same day.

SEL360 is delivered in partnership with Scalable Care, on the mySHO Scalable Care platform: more than 300 evidence-based exercises, developed through Scalable Care's seven-year partnership with the UCSF Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute, in 92 languages, appropriate from elementary school through adults. mySHO built the SEL360 front end that schools, students and families use.

On that foundation we are building pathways that carry young people somewhere specific: UNRATTLED for athletes, Secure Your Future for technology and cybersecurity, and the trades and healthcare next.

SEL360+ runs where a licensed clinical partner is confirmed. Where one is not yet signed, the school runs SEL360 and moves to SEL360+ when the partner is in place.

First Medicaid billing

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Ohio paid 10 claim lines for two Innovation Academy West students from the July 2026 summer program: $1,469.72 collected, 0 denials, 0 recoupments. The summer program ran before the school year, so this proves the billing path end to end.

Focus Schools bills through Neighborhood Behavioral Services and Innovation Academy West through Cleveland Family Recovery, two clinical partners under the same parent organization. School-year daily billing actuals are not in yet, so any daily billing figure is a forecast until they arrive.

How SEL360+ is paid for

The curriculum itself is never billed to anyone. What gets billed is the licensed clinician's work, through the clinical partner, which is the billing provider of record. The tier model is laid out on mysho.me/tiers.

YEAR 1 The school funds year one to stand the program up, from its SEL budget or a grant. That covers training, documentation, site support documents, tech support, marketing materials, on-site training, a Qualified Mental Health Specialist on site, and ongoing support.
IN YEAR 1 Where a clinician is on site, Tier 1 work is billable at group and individual rates. Billing starts in year one and builds gradually.
YEAR 2+ Public and private insurance billing carries the program.
How it works

Engagement and reimbursement workflow

How a school engagement is stood up, delivered, documented and reimbursed.

1

School adopts SEL360+

mySHO presents to district or school leadership. The school funds year one to stand the program up.

2

Clinical partner engaged

A licensed, insurance-enrolled behavioral health agency in that market joins the deployment. That is the + in SEL360+.

3

On-site support

A Qualified Mental Health Specialist on site runs the program day to day with school staff and the clinical team.

4

Daily lessons

Every enrolled participant completes a 15 minute lesson each school day, for 32 weeks, with zero prep for teachers. Families do the same lesson through the Family Care Team.

5

Documented and billed

The clinical partner documents its services and submits claims as the billing provider of record.

6

Payer reimburses

Medicaid or private insurance reimburses the clinical partner, and revenue is shared under the partnership agreement.

$37.50 per student per day (Focus Schools contract rate)×160 program days (32 weeks)=$6,000 gross billings per student→~$3,000 mySHO net (50% split)

The 50% split is mySHO's model and is being finalized with the clinical partner. Realized billing depends on attendance, eligibility and claim approval.

One foundation, several pathways

SEL360+ first, then a path somewhere specific

Every pathway starts from the same daily SEL360+ lesson, so a school that buys SEL360+ gets a program that grows with its students.

Why now: policy tailwind

SEL is embedded in state education policy

Social-emotional learning, the category SEL360+ serves, is now standard across U.S. education policy, underpinning durable demand for the market sized below.

How big is this?

Market sizing: TAM, SAM and SOM

Built bottom-up from public enrollment and Medicaid data and the SEL360+ unit economics, not a top-down "behavioral health is a $X-billion market" number. Dollar figures are mySHO net revenue (~50% of gross billings), which is mySHO's model; the split is being finalized with the clinical partner. The model is sized on Medicaid, the public-insurance path; private and commercial insurance are excluded and represent additional upside.

~$39B
TAM: Total Addressable Market
National ceiling: ~13.0M Medicaid-eligible grades 6-12 students x ~$3,000 net, at full penetration.
~$6.1B
SAM: Serviceable Addressable Market
The four active states (Ohio, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania): ~2.04M eligible students x ~$3,000 net.
~$18M
SOM: Serviceable Obtainable Market
Near-term obtainable: the 3-year plan reaches ~6,000 students, about 0.29% of the SAM.

Sources: U.S. Department of Education, National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), fall 2023; Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) child coverage ~49% (American Academy of Pediatrics; KFF). TAM and SAM are 100%-penetration ceilings, not forecasts; the SOM is the decision-relevant figure.

Backpack Healthcare, PACE and MATTER

mySHO and Backpack Healthcare are working toward a national partnership, with Backpack as the licensed clinical partner for SEL360+. With Backpack in place, mySHO can grow public and private insurance billing with its current clients in Chicago, New York, Pittsburgh and Ohio, and keep onboarding new ones. Backpack also works with a large number of schools, which the partnership opens to SEL360+.

mySHO was accepted into the 2026 Chicago Venture Summit: Future of Health Startup Portfolio. mySHO expects to work with PACE Healthcare Capital and is pursuing funding through MATTER, the Chicago health-technology hub where mySHO is a recognized partner.

The investment

Short-term capital while insurance billing grows

Funding through PACE Healthcare Capital and MATTER could take six months to a year. To carry mySHO through that period while insurance billing grows, mySHO is raising a minimum of $50,000 and up to $200,000 from private investors, at $25,000 or more each.

New investors take equity in mySHO Inc., the parent company, and take part in all of mySHO's work: SEL360+, UNRATTLED in athletics, community violence intervention, and programs for veterans and active duty DoD service members once the resources are in place.
